"Entering the property you are suddenly aware of the 'seclusion', yet within walking distance to a most beautiful beach (you need to view it from the Northern overlook) and on the edge of national park lands with mini-rainforests, hiking trails and more. But wait, opening the door is like opening an oyster shell...a VERY impressive interior...very well appointed with full kitchen, three full bedrooms and fireplace. Wood and kindling is stacked in an outbuilding just beyond a very appropriately positioned hammock. The very best thing is to bring your food, wine and bubbly, and favourite music and while away the seclusion with your very special 'pearl' that you have also brought with you.
Pearl Beach restaurant is indeed a find and reservations are a must...walk, don't drive. And if you go with others, make sure they each bring their special 'pearl'.

"Wildwood is a wonderful place to escape with the girlfriends after a hard week. The house had all those personal touches that made it welcoming. We found sunny spots to sit, read and unwind, ate breakfast and read the Sunday newspapers on the back deck and it's only a short stroll to the beach. When we wanted exercise we walked through the National Park (at the end of the road) and discovered some great views over Pittwater."

"The house is set back from the road among the trees in a world of its own. That's how I felt - like I had escaped from the hassles of my everyday life and for a brief time I could just enjoy the peace, the simplicity and beauty of the house and its decor. I discovered something new about me, an old friend and a new one. Not bad for a short break. The house has everything you need and nothing you don't. It's an hour or so drive from the CBD and a few minutes walk to the beach. But I was happy to stay at home and enjoy where I was"
